Against the flood

I struggled to capture the strange collision of an unprecedented, destructive flood on the stopping grounds (lakes) of my youth, and the serenity of sunsets and the calm they bring to rainy lake. I found the images of these trees, sticking up through the waters to stand tall in their calm to capture things well. Captured with Sony A7RIV, sigma 14-24 hand held leaning over the edge of my boat. Still learning!
