Rainy Lake Minnesota experienced an historically unprecedented flood this year. I tried to capture the eerily foreboding beauty of this scene and the implications it may have for our changing landscape. I used long exposure to smooth out a the water and it gave a ghostly quality to the quivering survivors of the flood. Sony a7riv, sigma 14-24, Haida ND6, 25 seconds, F11 iso 64. Cropped in post for composition, as I didn't want to risk wading that deep into the water.
