"Like Me"

with @iamshapeshifting . This artwork is about the human’s desire to be liked, appreciated and actually to search for a recognition which at the end flies away like a balloon. The true recognition coming from the inside, from the amount of work we invest. Shot in the studio with 4 strobes, a canon 5D Mark IV and a 16-35mm lens. Background done from scratch with Cinema 4D and Arnold Renderer, composite and retouching in photoshop. All the hearts on the clothes were added one by one as vectors and replaced the actual white circles on the cloth using frequency separation, color and adjustment layers, and dodge and burn. About 100 hours of work were required.
