Cemetery Vandalism

A Google search for "cemetery vandalism" produces more than 2 million results and underscores how massive the problem of the willful desecration of graves had become across the U.S. The nature of this photo challenge to myself was to produce an image that captures the mindless destruction itself as well as a rich sense of the once-revered nature of these spaces that speak of an earlier time and now-discarded social standards.
