We started climbing the mountain around 1:00 AM after the date changed. It is a beautiful mountain with foggy ice in Nara Prefecture, Japan. We gained elevation steadily and arrived at the point where we planned to photograph before sunrise. The surrounding area was a sight to behold, with the fog and ice so beautifully combined with the soft colors of the morning sky.
