Sometimes I use exposure blending, sometimes I use time blending. with this I've used time blending. meaning I had enough time and freedom to shoot. yet I believe in landscape photography, (in any photography genre for that matter) luck plays a part. even without this bird on the rock, I would have been completely fine with this photograph. But with he/she on the rock, add an extra value and a completely opposite meaning and mood to this scene. since I was using 10-15 sec exposure to capture this scene, may be I was lucky he/she decided to stay still till I finish the shot.
