The lonely tree

Today I leave you a Startrail from the Namib Desert in Namibia 🇳🇦.

In the northern hemisphere the stars will rotate around Polaris, or the pole star, counterclockwise and in the southern hemisphere (where the photo is taken), the stars rotate around Sigma Octantis, the southern pole star, clockwise.

A total of 828 photos were used to make the photo, which were "added together" to get this trace, each with an exposure time of 30 seconds, resulting in a total of almost 7 hours.

Great!

I find this one quite amazing. Technically perfectly executed with a very clean result, great composition, gorgeous colors. For some, it might feel a bit like digital art instead of photography but ultimately I would love to hang it on my wall. If I had taken this picture, I would print it very big on a nice material and hang it in my desk!

Thanks a lot buddy ! What a honor !!! Yesss I have to print and hang in my house ! :D
