For my money, there is no better vantage point for viewing Manhattan than the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center. The view lines up the iconic Empire State Building, the World Trade Center, and the Statue of Liberty far in the distance. The top observation deck offers ledges for propping up a camera on a small tripod, but arrive early for blue hour shots like this one, as the deck fills up quickly.
