English Falls

I've been wanting to visit English Falls in North Carolina ever since I came across a picture of it several years ago. Despite it's beauty, this waterfall is practically unknown to locals and infrequently visited. This is due largely to the fact that it is difficult to access. The trek down to the falls is short but treacherous, requiring a bit of rappelling and cliff scrambling, but the reward is having this majestic waterfall all to yourself.
