I found this place scouring Google Earth for anything of interest.
There are several old piers in the area, but this one was the worst of the lot. It took a little exploring to find this one... trekking across a closed golf course in a somewhat sketchy part of town, slipping down a wet clay embankment, and picking my way through what was either a beach house for some homeless or a party pad for some teens, I finally found this pier.
I took several angles, but this was my favorite... I'm going back near the summer solstice so the sun is more in line with the pier, but for now, I'm happy with this one!
