Vestrahorn Aurora

it was one of those nights. I was in at Vestrahorn beach in Iceland and the Kp-index forecast for the solar wind was above 5. At the same time the weather forecast was getting worse and worse. Totally unexpected an opening in the night sky enabled an amazing aurora display like I haven't seen it before and thereafter. It did last only for about 15 minutes but the night sky show was a blast.
