This was very much one of those "happy accident" scenarios. When I developed this batch of sheets the weather was extremely cold and my developer (I use various caffenol derivatives) kept cooling in the tray, bringing some of the sodium carbonate out of solution, resulting in these streaks. Or at least that's what I think happened. It ended up inparting a wet plate feel to the entire thing.
