I was traveling south after picking up my 11x14 camera from Richard Ritter in Vermont. Dan was cycling the Natchez Trace. We met at a campground in middle Tennessee. Dan was a graphic designer and noticed my camera. We sat and drank whiskey and talked about AI, photography, travel, and the universal voltage that seems to push some us to live a life less ordinary. I made Dan's portrait before he left. On Kodak Gold 200 film with the Hasselblad 500 C/M.
