Emily was exactly where she wanted to be. Thrown away with the Dollmaker's previous rejects, to be lost to the hands of time. Her plan had worked and now she was no longer at the mercy of her maker, but her new found freedom was not enough, Emily wanted something more... Being rejected is something that we as artists face on a daily basis with our work, such rejection can either break us or motivate us. So my objective was to show Emily in a ruined state where she was no longer wanted or cared for by the Dollmaker, but it was a situation that would only make her stronger.
