I can't imagine how difficult that hike was to do at night. I remember how fearful I was of falling off horseshoe bend at night with no moon light. The Dolomites seems like a whole other challenge. Cool photo!
Hi Patrick many thanks! I walk during the day to reach the summit (I slept here 🙂) but it was difficult moving around to make the composition and the shots for myself, because between my positions in the picture and the tripod there was some rocks to climb, and I was very careful because it was obviously in the darkness.
I reach in later afternoon the summit to study well the spot and have a mental map about dangers in that area, to don't fall in the dark. It's very important know very well the spot if you move in the dark, a single error can be fatal.
