I have always been a stickler for color accuracy, not colors as I remember or envision how they should be. But color basic on the data available. I shoot RAW and avoid in camera profiles and influences by using a neutral base and turning off all other in camera color setting or a least setting them to Zero/Zed. I have been working with RGB channels long before CRT personal home computers when CRTs were used in Television sets.
For possibly a decade I have been experimenting, learning a gaining a better understanding of the Lab color mode. And most recently exploring CMYK mode.
The workflow here utilized all three of these color mode and some basic masks form Adobe Camera Raw to this final image.
