The Dassault Rafale is a multirole, twin-engine, highly maneuverable fighter aircraft designed and built by the Eurofighter consortium.
What appears to be smoke above the aircraft's wings is actually just water vapour. When the aircraft turns, it creates a vacuum in that area, which causes water vapour to be produced, which disappears immediately when the plane returns to a horizontal position and the air begins to circulate again.
The photo was taken at the Gijon Air Festival (Asturias-Spain) held in August of each year.
