Robert very beautiful image, almost a capitalized wow. Not sure if it short falls are, but think it is more that probably in presentation. Possibly as simple as processing for internet presentation, i.e. resizing/resolution, sharpening and or jpg compression. PM me if you want.
if I had to complain about my own image here. What I don't like about it: Is the over-exposed 'top-most-petals'. To be completely honest; I even tried to use a remove tool to get rid of it. The remove tool decided to do something really funny in it's first attempt, I almost wanted to post that in an AI-fail video. But I didn't post any 'removal-version' here. Your right, the over-all-sharpness is slightly lower than desired. It is cropped from a larger picture, but still nice, at least I think. Yes, some of that is FStoppers 'Presentation' too.
