A Cow in the neighbors yard the day of the Eclipse in 2024. A place that we had booked to watch the event north of Fredericksburg, TX. I don't remember what kind of Cow it was. Your able to see the number of flies that are cohabiting his back. A fence was partially removed. I enjoy the contrast of the colors, and the serene scene. Taken with my Tamron 150-600 G2
Hi Robert,
Checking the internet I came up with Blaarkop, a Dutch breed used primarily as a dairy cow but also for it's meat. "Blaarkop" translates to "blister head" for the colored patches around the eyes.
I enjoy the feeling I get from viewing this image, except for the flies.
