Emotions, especially those that deviate from the aggression that is traditionally expected from a man in patriarchal societies are usually expected to be hidden and not expressed openly. Out of fear of ridicule and peer pressure many young men are incapable of fully embracing their emotions. Crying, has been turned into the ultimate symbol of fragility, because Boys do not cry. Well, I’ve seen grown men cry! So let’s make it visible and embrace it.
