Cape Reinga - New Zealand

This iconic lighthouse stands guard over the tip of the North Island of New Zealand.
The whitecaps on the left side of the image identify where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet.
This point is significant to the local indigenous people (Māori) as it is here that the spirits of the dead are believed to be released.
