In 2014 Brandur, paralysed from neck down, asked TrueAdventure if they could take him paragliding.
After a year of research and development they've created a flying wheelchair for paragliding.
I was asked to photograp the first test flight where a pilot from TrueAdventure flew with one of the engineers who designed the chair.
We got really lucky with the weather and conditions. The sun was slowly going down shining nice warm light.
What was supposed to be a short test flight ended up lasting for over half an hour, and at this time of year, it's not that warm in Iceland. We were still shivering hours after we got inside. Shivering but smiling!
simply awesome!!!
