I was driving down a mountain when I saw a river flowing at the bottom. And hidden from the road, there it was: "Gufufoss". In fact I discovered it because its closeness with the road leading to Seyðisfjörður, a beautiful city of the East fjords.
A "classical" waterfall not as fancy as Seljalandsfoss or powerfull as Skogafoss. However its situation landlocked in the cliffs and the rocks all around made this landscape very interesting.
Although the composition looks simple, I really like it because it makes it efficient.
