Wondering why these trees are not categorised under 'Nature' or 'Landscape'? Cos they are not real! These are giant man-made trees at the Marina Bay of Singapore! The lights are powered by solar energy captured by photovoltaic panels installed at the canopies of the 'trees' during the day! This is one creative way for the land-scarce and resource-scarce Singapore to provide a vibrant and liveable environment to its people in a GREEN approach.
