Ted just turned 80. He's a self-employed draughtsman specialised in hand-drawn maps. A photography enthusiast, he let me photograph him in his office at the Royal Geographical Society.
The white balance was set to tungsten for the blue cast and the underexposure was chosen to achieve a late night kind of feel. Three speedlights were used: 1x CTO on Ted, camera right, 2x bare on the background.
