"This photo was shot on February in an old fortress in Israel, we had a lot planned out to do but we got stuck in a bad weather which was worse then the forecast. The fortress in located on the top of a tall hill and its almost wide open, there were strong winds and rain and out model was freezing. We decided to shoot anyway and try to make the best of the day. we had a very soft light due to the clouds and managed to get only a few shots with one outfit.
When I got home and looked at the photos I thought I needed something to give them a punch otherwise they would be too simple and boring, and we don’t like boring. That’s when I decided to mix an element of the wild into the calm mood of the model. So in each photo I used a different animal to give it a special punch and twist. This basically, gave the session a big boost and earned its place in our portfolio." -Kobi Alony
