Lovely photo ! How was this done?

Hi, Hemantha! Thank you. I shot everything separately and merged everything in photoshop. Lots of layers. :-p

Love it

Thanks, Linda!

Do you think you can make a video of how you did this. I would love to learn to do that! ITS STUNNING

How in the world did you do that? It is really a great picture.

Thanks Dr J, Lots of layers in photoshop. ;-)

Photoshopography, not photography…
But extremely well done!

Thanks Maxal, A new word for me. :-) I agree. Nowadays its digital capture and a lot of processing. The images i see in this community dont come out of my camera like that. ;-)

Yeah Its all fantasyland now with the oversaturated colors, oversharpening, tone mapping, HDR processing etc. I am a street photog and find that photos reflecting the reality that was observed are in the minority. Maybe the pendulum will swing back..

Totally, it’s like when that early faker DaVinci started painting without the brush strokes showing and screwed up art ever since. C’mon guys😜. This is an advertisement not an anatomical study.

This composite image is brilliant. The talent to pull this off from concept to execution is impressive. I had to chuckle at the request for a video of how you did this. Just for grins, tell us the total time on this project. Including everything from studio setup, testing, relighting, shooting, culling, editing, and final compositing.

I’m picturing you slumped over the computer with a month old beard, editing the “how to” video😃

Great work dude and what a community of thoughtful, helpful light chasers I’ve found here.

Cheers😎

Dude! I just realized that you posted this photo four years ago. That means you didn’t have the new AI powered tools for masking and LUTS and compositing that have been added to Lightroom and Photoshop. It was even more work which is even more impressive. Bravo!😎

Well done! Nice execution of today's digital photography tools.

Thank you Dan!
