"The picture was taken a day after my return from Lapland. In spite of my sense of victory, having seen the aurora, I also felt that I haven't seen enough of it, and I want more.
That night I celebrated the birthday of my good friend, Dan. We had our usual campfire at the "Nakik" lake at Rishon Le'tsion, where I go every time I need some inspiration from nature.
As I was trying to take pictures that would make up for my lack of "aurora experience", I suddenly noticed the view of the foggy lake and the moon's reflection in the water. "Stand by me" by B.B King started playing through my head, and all that was left was to take out a small flashlight from my pocket and ask Dan and his girlfriend to hold hands." -Bar Stefansky
