Four Weeks With the New Leica M11 Camera

The Leica M11 has arrived, and it has taken several impressive steps forward that establish it as a modern, professional camera while still providing the classic Leica experience the company's users look for. If you have been considering the camera, this excellent video review discusses one photographer's experience with it after four weeks.

Coming to you from Gajan Balan, this excellent video review takes a look at the new Leica M11 rangefinder camera after four weeks of use. The M11 has brought with it a range of new features and improved capabilities, with the most notable being its 60-megapixel sensor that puts it right near the top of full frame resolutions. Leica leverages that resolution for some neat tricks, including lower-resolution modes that trade off a bit of detail to offer increased dynamic range and better noise performance. Along with that, you get automatic parallax correction, 64 GB of built-in storage, and live view electronic stabilization. In addition, the electronic shutter fires as fast as 1/16,000 s, a nice feature for those very wide-aperture rangefinder lenses. Altogether, the M11 looks like an impressive modern update to a legendary camera series. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Balan.

If you can’t make money shooting pictures you certainly have the ability to do brand marketing.
As far as Leica M11 compared to Fuji X cameras HUM! I’ve been thinking how could one shoot fashion or portraits of models that are moving with the M11 and couldn’t find a solution…that would yield a high enough hit rate. Then I remembered that a long time ago a small company made a tiny camera with interchangeable lenses who’s AF nailed 95% of eye balls blistering sharp. See after over 100,000 images with M’s and so many soft images oh but I digress.
Really change your career, you could “sell ice to” well you know what they say, if Leica didn’t pay you lots you cheated yourself!
