A Review of the Tamron 17-50mm f/4 Di III VXD Lens

Tamron has become one of the industry's favorite brands, creating a range of lenses that offer impressive performance and image quality at highly competitive prices. One such lens is the 17-50mm f/4 Di III VXD, which offers very practical capabilities that make it a nice option for landscape and architectural photographers. This great video review takes a look at the sort of performance and image quality you can expect from it in practice.

Coming to from you from Christopher Frost, this excellent video review takes a look at the Tamron 17-50mm f/4 Di III VXD lens. While many people might prefer an f/2.8 aperture, it really is not necessary for things like landscape photography. Furthermore, that f/4 aperture comes with a few distinct advantages. First, it is much cheaper than an f/2.8 lens would be. Second, that f/4 aperture allows the lens to be much lighter and more portable, which can be a real boon when you are carrying a backpack full of heavy equipment several miles just to get to a location. And with the high-ISO capabilities of modern cameras, f/4 is not as much of a limitation as it used to be. Check out the video above for Frost's full thoughts on the lens.
