Which of These Canon Cameras Is Right for You?

Canon makes a range of mirrorless cameras that range from sub-$1,000 to well over $5,000. The EOS R7 and EOS R8 both sit at $1,500, making them an appealing pair of cameras that balance capabilities and cost. Which is right for you, though? This great video comparison takes a look at both to help you pick which is right for you.

Coming to you from Hyun Ralph Jeong, this great video review compares the Canon EOS R7 to the EOS R8. Of course, the most fundamental difference between the two is that the EOS R7 is an APS-C camera, while the EOS R8 is full frame, and while you might think that that automatically gives the EOS R8 the advantage in the fight, it is worth considering how the EOS R7 edges it out in many other areas, including things like in-body image stabilization, resolution, and burst rate with the mechanical shutter, making it a better choice for things like sports or wildlife photography. On the other hand, the EOS R8 offers better low-light performance and a more advanced and sensitive autofocus system. It certainly seems like both cameras are quite capable, particularly at their price points. Check out the video above for the full rundown.

The Nikon one

seriously looking at the R8 as a second camera to my R5. I currently use the RP which is a seriously drop-off from the R5 but I don't use a second cam that often. What I really want is for a R5 Mark II to come out so my R5 can be my second camera.
