Bruce Edgar

I was born in the East Kootenay area of Canada. It is a wild mountainous land, full of twisting switchbacks and narrow mountain roads. Maybe that's where my wild-side comes from; I like to walk in the woods, camera in hand looking for my next shot.

To further complicate my story I was also raised in beautiful Vancouver Island beside the Pacific Ocean. A temperate rainforest.

I now live in Edmonton a Northern city in the province of Alberta, Canada. Extremes have always been part of my life. I was also a soldier for twenty years.

The study of light and photography have become an essential part of my life. I see a vision in my mind's eye, the possibility of what could be and I am driven to try and capture it.
