Hi, I'm Alex.

I've just started my journey as an amateur photographer in the UK and I'm absolutely loving it so far. I currently work in a supermarket in a small town in South East England, but I dream of landscape photography all over the world.

Whilst COVID-19 has led to less field work than I'd like, it has allowed me to really focus on the theory of photography. Thanks to this amazing community, I've been able to study with ease with access to hundreds of articles and videos.

I managed to get away to Italy in October and took some photos that I'm particularly proud of. The Alps were incredible and I have newfound respect for photography in the Mountains. Bitterly cold (especially when under geared) and long hikes in sometimes foul weather. The rewards however, are awesome.
