Alex Weltlinger

I'm a Sydney based photographer and filmmaker. Commercially, I shoot advertising and portraiture, and direct music videos, commercials and corporate content. My clients have included the likes of Jagermeister, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Universal, Chobani, BT, Raine & Horne National, Princess Cruises, Accor Hotels, Elefant Traks, the Australian Banking Association, EMI and Qantas amongst many others.

Self taught as a photographer, my images have grown out of a relentless desire to make stories in single images. Often fantastical, I've tried to make my images appear painterly and stretch reality where I can, without being trite. If there's one theme I'm interested in above all, it would be perception, both by ourselves and others.

I live in Sydney's inner west with my partner, our two kids and a small, insane kitten.
