My first camera was a Kodak Disc, which I got for Christmas when I was 11. Since then I've never been without one in some form or another--moving first to a hand-me-down 35mm from my Grandfather, and eventually to the very first Kodak digital camera, eventually a Canon DSLR and now currently the Sony mirrorless system.

I consider myself an experienced amateur, but recently I've been asked to take on some semi-professional jobs shooting real-estate, office holiday cards, and family events, which has filled me with anxiety and excitement and is pushing me to get more serious about both the nuts and blots, and art and craft, of photography.
