From a young age I always had a fascination with photographs. May be that explains why I never really liked reading when I was young and would just look at the photos. At 17 years old I got a job in a photolab and from there on I never looked backed. Being a very dedicated skateboarder at the time I started to photograph skateboarding. Since I wanted to skateboard during the day and didn't want to wait to process the film, I built a darkroom in my parents basement. I would stay up all night developing, get some sleep and back out to skateboard and shoot more photos. I took every photography class at my local college they had and some advanced at Columbia College Chicago. Once digital started coming in I was in a band playing drums and that started to do well so I toured for a few years, working in labs part time when I was home. In 2007 my singer decided to go to medical school to be a doctor (which was the smart choice) so I went looking for a photography job where I could actually take photos and get paid. I worked in several labs, studios and freelanced over the years. Now I have a full time job photographing products.
