Damelys Mendoza

I'm a fashion and commercial photographer from Puerto Rico. I've been a photographer for 12 years and have always been a Nikon fan :) I started as a wedding photographer to make some money and buy my equipment, but soon realized wedding photography was not my favorite type of photography. I studied a bit more about trends, lighting and retouching, worked for a while with Maternity and Children portraits until I got the equipment I needed and the experience managing natural and artificial light to go to my favorite type of photography, Fashion. Although I've been a photographer for a while now, I had to change my style and technique and started a new portfolio in fashion photography 5 years ago. I've worked with famous local fashion designers, stylists and makeup artists for various campaigns and promotional shoots. I also have experience working editorials for magazines, beauty portraits and commercial photography. My latest achievement was being published in Vanity Fair London, On Time Edition, Editorial portraits of famous explorer Victor Vescovo.
