I am a lover of imagery in all its forms, photography, cinema, painting, sculpture and in my work I try to capture those fleeting moments of time, cultivated and expressed for others to view, consider, question and hopefully appreciate. I have diverse photographic interests and whilst some images are just what they are, beautiful depictions of a scene, a place, a moment, others should induce a narrative in the mind of the beholder, what was happening here? who said what to whom? what happened next? where were they going? etc. I have been lucky enough to have images awarded and exhibited internationally but I am inspired by looking forward to the next great image I hope to take. I have a passion for Black and White fine art images and whilst some images must be in colour, others must not if we are to come close to conveying the raw emotional power of a moment. I have a diverse travel portfolio and this is an area that allows for a love of travel whilst exploring cultures both familiar and those new to me. I love, love, love surfing imagery and have been lucky enough to see some of the largest waves and best Big Wave riders of our time.
I hope in my images you find something that makes you stop for a moment and breathe in those fleeting moments that have enriched my soul over the years.
