Davis Dewey

I picked up Photography in 1963, got a second hand Leica in '64, then I used Hassselblad for a while. I eventually settled on a 4x5 view with a 35mm DSLR on the side for casual stuff. My interest is widespread, from Architectural to Landscape to any picture that tells a story. I transitioned to Digital in '06 with a Nikon D200, and I currently shoot with a Fuji XH-1 and Lumix S1r.

Now I have a disability that makes shooting handheld somewhat problematic, so I'm back to using a tripod most of the time. That's more good than bad though, as I find it's forced me to slow down and take more care with each shot, sorta like the view camera did way back when.
