Hey there, I am Dee.
As a travel photographer living in Colorado and traversing the expansive, diverse landscapes of the United States, I seek to capture the essence of natural beauty and the subtle threads that connect these places. My work is a journey across all 49 accessible states, including Hawaii. A cross-country adventure that celebrates the land's majestic variety—from arid deserts and lush forests to rugged coastlines and serene plains. I have crossed the Mississippi River dozens of times now by car.

Each photograph is a testament to the raw and unfiltered beauty I encounter along my travels. I focus on the landscapes that define America’s natural heritage and on intimate scenes that often go unnoticed: a quiet stream in the mountains, the play of light across a prairie, or the storm clouds gathering over a canyon, inviting viewers to share in the wonder of America's wilderness and its powerful stillness.

The freedom of the open road is as much a part of my journey as the destinations. Each state offers new terrain and fresh perspectives, reminding me of the endless possibilities that lie just beyond the horizon. Through my lens, I seek to communicate the vastness and diversity of this land, capturing scenes that tell a story of natural resilience, beauty, and timelessness.

I am grateful to be still learning and studying as a Photographer. Every day is a lesson on what to do and what not to do. Lessons from others and the natural world are a gift.
