Fernando Mol

Fernando began his career as a video photographer with “Girandula”, a student short film that ended being transmitted by two local television channels in 1993. His first production using 16mm film was Nanda (2005), as one of the 8 short films ended up produced in a Juan Carlos Rulfo workshop in 2005.

With a long carrer in video production, advertising and design, Fernando has never stop shooting storys. He has directed short documentaries, musical videos and commercial works, along with fiction stories directed for other directors.

Fernando Mol was nominated for best cinematography with the short film “Otto” (2016), with a story of Stephen King directed by Sinhué Benavides, at the Diabolical Horror Film Festival, and won the same award at the Independent Horror Movie Awards.
