Gary Bowen

Employed as a medical research lab and fine line graphics technician (scientific) and wet lab copy photographer (Leica Reprovit) for several years 1984-2000. Four years spend as Limnology lab tech and Lead Field Technician.

Photography Courses: -Photojournalism Theory, Royal Holloway Univ of London, -Studio Lighting and -Studio Fashion, -Nikon School.

My personal photography had always been straight, street, but loved the courses in studio lighting and fashion photography I took at a college. My exhibit experience includes two modest solo exhibits, and participated in one large group exhibit, IN-VIVO at SPAG. Was selected to exhibit in Barcelona, Spain, and Florence, Italy, the UK and Cyprus, but was unsupported and unfortunately unfulfilled.. The Gov't Of Canada, Dept of Foreign Affairs requested my photograph of two RCMP officers of colour for their Latin American International Trade junket called Inuksuk, 1998.

Camera's of choice were Nikon FM2n, Nikon FE2, Nikon N90s, Nikkormat FT2, Canon PowerShot G10 and film stock Kodak TMax/TriX, Ilford HP5, and Fuji Provia.
