Gill Thompson

At an early age, I started playing with my first Kodak Instamatic and I was hooked. There are so many amazing things to see in our world and capture. By the time I was a teen, my grandmother helped me to get my first Minolta SLR and my passion was permanently fueled.

Since then, I have moved on to Canon rigs and a strong collection of quality glass which I use to capture the world around me. Freezing moments in their natural state and in my own vision via still-life, macro, portrait, fashion and art photography is my passion.

The speed of life is chaos of motion, and I use that chaos to my advantage by attempting to capture just the right moment and feeling, to show an emotion and to incite an emotional response in the viewer is always my goal.
