James Maher

My name is James Maher and I'm from a small town in the very south of Ireland. Started at photography through my sales job at Ryle Menswear Tralee doing some product photography with a Dony DSC-HX60. After a few months I moved up to an APS-C Sony A6000, quickly got tired with the kit lenses and invested in an SMC Pentax 50mm F1.4 and a Sony SEL 16mm F2.8. I practiced a lot of Landscape photography around the south of Ireland one of the most scenic places on the earth but during a trip to Romania I discovered that I have a love for street and travel photography. I aspire to be a full time photographer for profile shots, product photography, travel and street. Anything where I can exercise and scratch my creative itch!
