I grew up on the great plains of Texas, it was flat, really flat. During my childhood, I climbed anything I could to pass the time until my family's next road trip to the mountains. I honed my mountain craft climbing and skiing every chance I could until the adventures I embarked on were my own. I sought to share my stories of triumph and defeat with friends and family so I picked up a camera. Photography clicked with me the way being in the mountains did, it felt good to capture these beautiful places and moments.
Now both stills and motion are conduits through which I tell stories. My vision is clear, natural, and authentic. Working and playing in the mountains have instilled in me the work ethic to take the work very seriously, but to have a good time doing it.
