Jose Casillas

I'm a portrait photographer based in San Diego, California. I began experimenting with photography in early 2009, learning the trade without any formal photography classes, just trial and error. My inspiration comes from spontaneity. I'm intrigued by people, sights, sounds, and colors. I love to work with like minded individuals who are passionate about life and their crafts. My shoots consist of adventures, being in the present moment, and having fun with my subjects. My desire is to capture people in their natural states by showcasing their passions. I think my best work comes from impromptu photo shoots and letting my subjects empower the shoot by letting them be comfortable in their bodies by having fun.
