Joseph Tobiason

As a child, Joe was always excited to get to take photos with the family’s point and shoot cameras. This joy grew while living in Lima, Peru where he documented his time using his Minolta film camera. In that time, he learned the trade, but also honed his skills in working with people. Once returning to Seattle, that passion to make images that told the full story grew. While photographing, you can count on him being a little ridiculous, but doing everything he can to make everyone comfortable in front of his lens. Joe’s eye is drawn to strong lines, bold colors and emotion. Away from the camera, he lives on his bike, enjoys a hoppy IPA, loses his voice at Seattle Sounders and would prefer to never wear shoes again.
