Leon Vonk

My name is Leon Vonk, but some people call me ‘Sparky’. I’m a photographer from the city of Utrecht, located in the flats of the Netherlands. Ever since I got my hands on my father’s camera, during a vacation in the south of France, I was hooked. I’ve always felt connected to nature, I’m always happy when I’m surrounded by beautiful landscapes so it made sense when I started out with landscape photography. There is just no better feeling than looking through the camera’s ‘eye’, trying to capture the beautiful vista I'm seeing. Absolute magic. As I'm also an avid musician, I've always felt drawn towards concerts and started to bring my camera along with me. Nowadays I am both doing nature and concert photography on a regular basis, trying to make it a full time gig.
