About Jim
A computer geek who is enthusiastic about photography.
When the Apple QuickTake 100 came out in 1994, I bought it without a second thought. It held eight 640x480 color pictures!
Ten years later, when Nikon released its first consumer grade DLSR (the D70 in 2004), and I realized I could "borrow" the Nikkor lenses my wife was using on her N90s film camera, I jumped on it and new doors in photography opened.
In April of 2014 I realized my D70 was 10 years old and getting a bit long in the tooth, so I purchased a D610. All I can say is WOW!!! The D610 has inspired me. The amount of detail I can capture is mind blowing. I feel like I am starting over and it is wonderful.
