Mario Dobelmann

I am a passionate amateur photographer from a small town called Geretsried near the Bavarian Alps.

Although I grew up in the foothills of the Alps, it was only a few years ago that I discovered my passion for the Alps. Meditation changed me a lot and brought me back to a consciousness that allows me to get in touch with my surroundings, with nature and to perceive many things that were closed to me before.

I love to be out in the morning hours where most people are still sleeping. The animals are still active and everything is still quiet. Suddenly the first light comes and the colours show. There is nothing more beautiful for me than to be fully in touch with it. In these moments everything just falls off and you are in full contact with life.

The photos I took at this moment can lead me back to this place at any time. I want to pass on this beauty, these wonderful impressions and touch people with them, so that it might awaken something in them. Maybe the thoughts become silent for a moment and a beautiful feeling rises. That is all I want to achieve with it. Nature needs us and we need her.

It`s time that we find this connection again.
